A pay-to-rank leaderboard for founders who can afford the bid — and still have to go outside to keep it.

The bit

Highest cumulative bid sits at #1. Anyone can claim a spot for a dollar more. That's the easy part. Every 24 hours without a verified photo of actual grass, your effective score drops 10%. Seven idle 24-hour periods and the listing is dead: greyed, skulled, still ranked at its frozen day-7 score. One verified photo or a $5 skip brings it back at that rotted amount — a $100 bid that died around $48 stays $48.

Why grass

Because a ranking you can buy forever is just an ads.txt file with extra steps. touchinggrass.lol makes the rank rot unless the founder physically went outside. A vision model checks the photo: visible grass, outdoors, original (not a screenshot, not a stock meadow, not a houseplant in a WeWork). The photos are public. Other people can flag fakes. Three flags and the proof disappears like it never happened.

How a listing lives

You list an app for $1. You get a 24-hour grace period. Then you touch grass, skip leg day for $5, or watch the bid compost. A GPX track is optional bragging rights — it never counts as a touch by itself, but a fresh one tacks on a 5% bonus for a day. Dead listings come back with one verified photo or a $5 skip — same rotted score, clock reset. The lawn is patient. The score is not.
